Specifying Evaluative Criteria

Assistant Professor Robyn Thomas Pitts, an ISEE co-chair was part of an endeavor to create a learning activity for specifying evaluative criteria. These materials outline concrete strategies for (1) identifying evaluative criteria from sources like project proposals, key informant interviews, and extant data, and, (2) critically analyzing how the process of criteria selection and the choice of different criteria affect the design, findings, and implications of an evaluation study. In these materials, we provide resources for novice learners to practice engaging in this type of thinking, including a learning case, editable handouts, and quick guides for instructors and individual learners.

Please fill in this brief introduction survey to get download access to the materials. We ask for your details so we can provide support for you and learn more about how we can improve what we offer.*
